The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is a map of creation.
It represents the entire cosmos and shows the soul’s descent from Source into matter, and our ascension route back to Source and enlightenment.
It consists of 10 different spheres, or sephiroth, representing different divine emanations or beings, which are connected by 22 paths of the Hebrew alphabet. It contains many layers of complexity and lies at the core of the Kabbalah, an ancient mystical branch of Judaism.
The sephiroth can be viewed in several different ways - for example, as:
• Frequencies: the frequency descends from the infinite frequency to the dense and slow frequencies of matter,
“Matter is frozen light.” David Bohm
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Nikola Tesla
• Astrological Planets: each sephiroth represents a planet: e.g. Keter, The Crown is Neptune.
• Angelic: each sephiroth represents an Archangel: e.g.,
• Tarot cards: each spehiroth relates to specific Tarot cards.
Nine of the top 10 sephiroth are in spiritual realms we cannot see. Matter appears only at Malkuth, the lowest realm. This is where the four elements exist: which, in increasing order of density, are: fire, air, water and earth.
This means that everything in the material world has its cause in the higher realms above. This is how Ayurvedic medicine and acupuncture work: they free the blocked energy flows in the spiritual realms, which heal the material body.
